Professional Personal Statement
I am dedicated to providing a non-judgmental and safe space for you. Seeking therapy is often the first step to solving problems and indicates an acknowledgement of your needs – asking for help requires strength and commitment to yourself. I am passionate about doing good effective therapy; I believe the best therapy is tailor-made for the unique individual and that all people are resilient, and have ample internal resources to overcome life’s challenges. Although therapy can be difficult, it can also be exciting as clients discover new aspects of themselves and try out new ways of Being. My style is warm, empathic, interactive, and collaborative. I have over twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I do depth/insight interpretive work, as well as solution-oriented directive brief therapy. Please call me for a free telephone consultation – I will be happy to answer your questions.
